The 2005 Field School & IA Project continued the research at the site of the West Point Foundry. This site is in Cold Spring, New York, in the Hudson River Valley north of New York City. Michigan Tech has a long-term research project on this famous industrial site, owned and managed by the Scenic Hudson Land Trust.
2005 was MTU's fourth summer field season on the site and excavations explored the furnace, the East Bank House, and other features around this 88 acre site in Cold Spring, New York.
